About Mason County Criminal History

Mason County records are divided among the Sheriff’s Office, the 79th District and 51st Circuit courts, the Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center, the Michigan Department of Corrections, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. We built this private resource to make those official channels easier to distinguish and to place verified links, addresses, and phone numbers in one clear reference.

Why We Built This Site

Michigan provides several public routes to justice records, but no single search contains every part of a person’s history. The Mason County Sheriff holds agency reports and local booking material. Court clerks preserve filed charges, hearings, dispositions, and sentences. The Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center maintains the statewide repository behind ICHAT, while MDOC operates OTIS and MSP manages the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. This resource organizes the official portals, request methods, fees that agencies publish, and practical contact details for those separate custodians.

Only the Mason County record holder or Michigan State Police can provide an official or certified record; the document must come from its custodian.
